Westpoint Community Heroes

Westpoint has launched a new community support programme, in conjunction with community partner the Blacktown Advocate.
Westpoint Community Heroes recognises outstanding acts of kindness and community service undertaken by individuals or groups within our local area.
Westpoint Community Heroes provides a $1,000 monthly grant to one successful not-for-profit candidate.
Monthly nominations close on the 20th of the month, click on the above link to nominate a worthy organisation.
Community Room
Westpoint now has a community room which is available to not-for-profit community groups for functions and meetings.
The room seats up to 180 people in auditorium style seating or up to 115 seated at tables. Located on ON FOUR, Level 4 you can make an enquiry about reserving the room for your community group by calling Customer Service on 8825 2400, or simply click here to fill in an entry form. Your submission will be reviewed and you will be notified accordingly.

Free Tutoring at Home
Blacktown City Council libraries have tapped into the Yoututor service, hailing them as one of Australia's Top 5 e-learning innovators for 2009-2010.
Yourtutor is a free online tutoring service that provides students with free homework help. This site offers an online classroom where students are connected to qualified, expert tutors for one-on-one with homework, understanding difficult topics, assignment research, exam preparation and study questions.
The service is available during school terms, Monday to Friday from 4.00pm-8.00pm. For more information phone
